2020 Solids Handling Industry Awards

The Solids Handling & Processing Association (SHAPA) are delighted to announce that the annual Solids Handling Awards to promote success and achievement across our collective industries,  are now open to all companies registered in UK, whether SHAPA members or not, who are directly involved in the solids handling and processing industry.

This exciting opportunity will comprise awards in four categories: the Innovation Award, the Export Award, the Newcomer Award and the SHAPA Company of the Year Award.

The awards are open for application from the 1st December 2019 and full details on how to enter your company or colleague and applicable conditions are available on the Association website at www.shapa.co.uk but please act quickly – the closing date for all entries is 29th February 2020

Briefly, The Innovation Award will be made to the company or collaborative organisations who have introduced significant new products or services, or valuable modifications that help drive the industry to further success. SHAPA will be looking for truly ingenious thinking, applied with flair.

The Export Award will go to the company who shows the best achievement relative to their size, with export sales either in one market or across several markets. Imaginative and novel methods that have brought good results will be considered within the assessment of this award.

The Newcomer Award will be awarded to an individual who has contributed to a Member Company / organisation or developed significantly in the field of bulk solids handling, contribution(s) in areas such as sales, design, innovation, apprenticeship or further studies that has/have greatly benefited themselves, their company or organisation.

Finally, the SHAPA Company of the Year will be that organisation considered to have achieved the most in any category, relative to their size, by promoting best practice, setting aspirational industry standards and increasing sales.
All winners may use their award for their own marketing and publicity purposes as they see fit, provided that they quote the year of attainment. This year the awards ceremony will be held at the Brooklands Museum in Weybridge on the 22nd April 2020

But do remember – the closing date for all entries will be 29th February 2020
