Shapa has just completed a successful, engineering the future
workshop at the Motor Heritage Centre.
The Workshop was attended by
young engineers and those joining the Solids Handling Industry. The
content covered personal development and technical presentations along
with workshops to strengthen the knowledge of those attending.
Presentations were given by senior members from the solids handling
industry and the content was designed to ensure the next generation of
engineers have a sound understanding regarding the techniques and
processes required to ensure a successful project.
e are a few testimonials from those attending:-
The conference
exceeded my expectations in terms of layout, organisation and content. I
would recommend it to others and would like to be present in the future.

I thought the work shop was a very useful day and a
good opportunity to meet some new and very experienced people in the
industry, I am looking forward to attending the next event. James Silton
what I think of the engineering the future workshop is : This was a
great way to interact with industry professionals that have all of the
knowledge and guidance needed to improve my own knowledge. I enjoy the
fact that the "legends" of the industry invest the time in the future of
the industry. Tom Bane
