SHAPA Powder & Bulk Solids Industry Conference
This one day conference organised by the Solids Handling and Processing Association (SHAPA) is for those involved in the handling of loose bulk solid materials and powders.
This Powder & Bulk Solids Industry Conference is being held on Tuesday 18th October 2011 at the centrally located Imago, Holywell Park Conference Centre on the Loughborough University site in Leicestershire. The venue is five minutes from junction 23 of the M1 motorway. It will be a must for both suppliers and users of solids handling equipment.
The Agenda includes Keynote Addresses where you can learn about the current outlook for the UK economy from Pamela Wright of the Bank of England, hear about export opportunities from Tim Jelly of UKTI and how to minimising your legal liability risk from Simon Bates of law firm Harvey Ingram LLP.
Delegates will also be able to select individual sessions from two parallel streams of presentations covering the latest ideas and thinking on solids handling, fan selection and acoustic techniques and hear about the requirements of the minerals industry.
In addition to the presentations there will be Discussion Groups where delegates can benefit from hearing and discussing fellow delegates' experiences on the specific presentation topics and the opportunity to speak with some SHAPA members who will be illustrating their company's capabilities at table top displays.
